THE CORVETTE SHOP The Corvette Shop restores and repairs C1 to C6 Corvettes, but they are passionate about making Corvette's perform even better than they were originally designed. Increasing horsepower is priority one at the shop, and they developed the C5 - 8.1 liter engine swap. This is a big block engine conversion that replaces the original small block while retaining the stock appearance of the vehicle, including the stock hood. One of their more recent builds is a 1962 Corvette with a one off supercharger linked with the original mechanical fuel injection.
