Welcome to TMPCC

Welcome to the official website of the Television Motion Picture Car Club, the world's first and only entertainment industry car club. TMPCC was founded by industry insiders and it makes no difference if you work in television, motion pictures, music, radio, sports entertainment, etc., if you work or have worked in the business, or you're associated with the industry in some way, shape or form, you're eligible for membership. If you're as passionate about the automobile as we are, we hope you'll check out our site and become a member.

The history of Hollywood's love affair with the automobile goes back to the early days of motion pictures. Ever see a Keystone Cops short and all the death defying chase scenes? How about more recent films like: American Graffiti, Bullitt, The Fast and the Furious or Gone in 60 Seconds? When it comes to television, remember the Ford Torino in Starsky and Hutch, the Ferrari in Magnum P.I. or the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazard. Cars have been, and always will be a large part of the Hollywood lexicon.

The actors of Hollywood's Golden Era were also passionate about cars. Clark Gable, Errol Flynn and Tyrone Power (just to name a few) owned the fastest and most exotic cars of their day. Actors who came into their own in the 1950's, 60's and 70's, like James Dean, Steve McQueen, James Garner and Paul Newman all raced cars when they weren't on set. Other entertainers like Dean Martin owned a Stutz, Elvis Presley owned a DeTomaso Pantera and Frank Sinatra enjoyed driving his cherished 1955 Thunderbird.

In the present day, Tim Allen, Adam Carolla, Tom Cruise, Patrick Dempsey, Jay Leno, Frankie Muniz, Joe Rogan, Sylvester Stallone, Christopher Titus, Mark Wahlberg and many other personalities are carrying on the tradition of owning and driving some of the coolest vehicles on the road.

Hollywood is a car town, it always has been and always will be, and while some well-known personalities opt to drive eco-friendly vehicles on principle, there is still a core of entertainment industry professionals who prefer to own a vehicle that suits their personality and their passion, and that is what the Television Motion Picture Car Club is all about.

TMPCC has organized this legacy into the first car club of its kind, where anyone who works or has worked in the entertainment, sports or motor sports communities can get together and share our passion for the automobile. Members own vehicles from daily drivers to sports cars; muscle cars to exotic's; classics to customs, hot rods to motorcycles, some even own famous vehicles from television and motion pictures. But you don't need to own a Ferrari, a Lamborghini or the Batmobile to be in the club, any vehicle in excellent condition, that you're proud to own is welcome.

Event information is forwarded to our members via email, which allows us to keep the cruise dates and destinations secret from the prying eyes of the general public. Due to the privacy surrounding our club and our events, our members aren't bothered by gawkers, stalkers or the paparazzi on event days. The only events we do post in the public domain are those where the public is allowed to attend. One example is our annual car show, which is a charity event held in conjunction with the Fourth of July Fireworks Festival at CBS Studio Center in Studio City, California.

Membership allows you to attend all our public and private events throughout the year. In addition, you can take advantage of the discounts offered on our Members Discount page. You will also be issued a laminated membership badge and our motion picture camera on wheels decal for your vehicle. To join, just go to our JOIN TMPCC page on this website.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, we have discounts in place for wheels, tires, batteries, detailing, fuel and engine additives, wheel alignments, wheel balancing, engine and transmission swaps, parts fabrication and paint work. Members can even get cost pricing on vehicle financing and service contracts through participating sponsors. We continue working to find members additional discounts through businesses that support the TMPCC, so check our page for the latest deals.
